Teething

Carter's first tooth broke through the gum on Wednesday. It sure is sharp! I bought him some teething biscuits at the store today...I had no idea they'd be so messy. As you can see, he loved it! He sure pitched one heck of a fit when I took the box away from him though.

Growing up too fast

He can hold a cup all by himself! Can you believe how fast he's growing up? I know I can't. It seems everyday is another bittersweet accomplishment. It's great that he is growing up and doing all of the things he's supposed to...but I wish I could freeze time and keep him as my tiny little baby.

In case you hadn't heard, my parents were involved in a motorcycle accident this past weekend. Thankfully, they're both alive and healing well. Of course, continued prayers are appreciated.

He started going to sleep on his tummy and waking up on his back a few weeks ago (August 7th to be exact--22 weeks old), but I was just recently able to see it with my own eyes.
