Carter's Dedication Ceremony (12/30/06)

Pastor McFarland and his wife Marsha were kind enough to do a private dedication ceremony for us while we were in town. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend. It meant a lot to me that we were able to dedicate Carter in the company of family and in the church I grew up in. It was also nice to have the opportunity to see everyone together and get a little extra visiting time in
before flying back to PA.

Christmas Eve 2006

Here's a picture of Carter sitting in Daddy's seat like a big boy on the airplane. We spent Christmas Eve flying to Sacramento...believe it or not, Carter hardly slept the entire way there. He did really well on the plane though, considering he was awake and tired pretty much the whole time.

Puppy Update

The excitement is turning into nervousness now. What are we going to do with a baby AND a puppy!? I still think it's better now than later though. Well, here are the pictures of our pup getting strong enough for us to take him home. I thought Carter grew way too fast...puppies grow up even faster! I'm glad to be human...until the teenage years anyway.

Niagara Falls--December 9, 2006

It was so cold that day! Of course, we kept Carter plenty warm and he had no idea there was a chilling wind. Sorry, but there aren't any pictures of Cory...he was the one taking all the pictures (and getting his camera lens wet too).

It's Snowing!

The pictures don't really do justice, but at least you get the idea. I'm sure there will be plenty more to come, so I can send better pictures later. Cater enjoys watching the snowfall so I'm taking advantage of the free entertainment while it lasts.

Upcoming Addition to our Family

No, I'm not pregnant again (not yet anyway ;-) As many of you already know, Cory has been wanting a chocolate lab puppy for a VERY LONG time. Most of you have also probably heard me say he can have a puppy after I have a baby...well, I guess that means it's time now. We just reserved a chocolate male from Four Seasons Labradors. He was born on November 18th and we will be picking him up from the breeder on January 6th. Here's a link to the website (which is updated with pictures of the pups every Friday). http://www.fourseasonslabradors.com/2.htm

Ours is the chocolate boy on the left (currently 3 weeks old). If you want to see what his mom and dad look like, I'm including links for them too.

Cory prefers the English Chocolate Labs with the big bulky heads. They're supposed to have great temperaments too, so he should make a great family pet!

Misc. Carter Pics

I guess Carter is making up for the fact that the cat leaves the tree alone.

He's too cute--I just can't stop taking pictures! I also can't decide which pictures are the "cutest," so I'm putting up the whole bunch so you can see them all. If they're too small, just click on each picture for a larger view.
