The New Puppy Has Arrived!

We picked up our adorable lab on Saturday (1/6/07) and are adjusting to life as dog owners. He is super cute and does very well around Carter. Of course, I'm right there to make sure he doesn't nip at Carter. They enjoy each others toys (probably more than their own) and are similar in many ways. They both think that anything they can get to that's not a toy belongs in their mouth...chew toys are only for chewing if there's nothing else around. Neither are potty trained, although puppy is doing very well with it so far (thank God Carter has diapers ;-). They both seem to grow at exponential rates too. I think this was a good decision and look forward to watching them become the best of friends. Oh...and we named our darling little puppy Morro, after Morro Bay, CA. Cory and I had originally agreed on the name Jake (same as choosing Carter's name, it was the only name we agreed on) until Cory mentioned Morro. We decided to go for something unique that reminds us both of a favorite place.
