Christmas Tree Farm

We went on quite an adventure hunting for the perfect tree this year. The first place we went to was outrageous and the second...well, I guess you get what you pay for (see picture of misshapen trees w/ giant bold spots). In the end we found a decent tree at a decent price, but it took us the ENTIRE day. Carter had a blast running around without the stroller, carrier or mommy or daddy's hand! Oh, and in case you're wondering why the heck there are pirate ships in a post about Christmas trees...they're on "display" in Half Moon Bay and I snapped a shot as we were driving along HWY 1. Would've gotten better pics if we paid to tour them, or at least stopped the car.

Carter copies everything Daddy does and even helps to examine the trees.

Are these the saddest looking trees you've ever seen?

I'm free!!!!

Baby boy...getting too big to be held like this anymore :-(

Look at all this room to run!

Mommy's little boy :-)

See, pirate ships.

Wow! Now I'm happy to be in Pennsylvania with the snow and the best Christmas trees ever! Carter looks so big even since last month. I'll try to call you back soon!
